Madison, MS population 24,841 per 2010 census nickname “The Brick City” and named after James Madison the fourth President of the United States. Also there is a high school that’s one of the four largest public schools in the state, Madison Central High School home of the Jaguars.

Madison Central “Big Blue”

At Madison Central on the Boys Basketball Team Head Coach Timothy Speech has a player that can definitely play at the next level. I would like to introduce 2020 6’2 Combo Guard Jalin Rice. Jalin has the ability to take defenders of the dribble and finish above the rim. Jaylin has a basketball sense and IQ to know when to take a charge from the opposing team. He gets his teammates involved by penetrating the defense and finding the open man. After watching game film on Jaylin this week his ceiling is very high. Not only does he plays hard on the court but makes his education a priority. Jaylin has a 3.17 GPA with a 19 ACT score and focued on making sure he stays eligible.
