The last time these two teams played the Lady Pirates won by a slim margin 46-43. So fast forward to halftime Fairhope were leading the Hornets by 12 points 33-21. Junior Guard Reagan White hit three 3 pointers in the 1st half along with a two pointer to lead all scores with 11 points.
Start of the 3rd quarter the Pirates picked up where they left off going on a tremendous run and by the end of the 3rd quarter, they were leading the Hornets 51-24. Baker tried to make a comeback with the outstanding play by Guard Jakayla Nickles hitting 11 points. That wasn’t enough to take down the fighting Pirates of Fairhope who won 61-45.
