Daphne came into this game with several back to back loses, but Head Coach DeMarcus Mosley had other things in mind. The 1st quarter of the game was very low scoring, until the Trojans started to make their move.
At the half the Trojans were leading the Bulldogs only by 5 points 26-21. The Bulldogs continued to fight back but by the end of the 3rd quarter Daphne was still in the lead 46-31. UMS-Wright tried to keep it close but Daphne continued the charge to bring home the victory 69-49.
Daphne will take on the 4A State Champs Williamson Lions on Tuesday night at home.
